Roanoke Marshes, replica built 2004 of a 1877 screwpile light near Wanchese, now located in Manteo. -
Price's Creek, est. 1849 pre-Civil War range light, ruins on banks of Cape Fear River near Southport. -
Roanoke River, replica built 2003, in Plymouth, of the 1867 Roanoke River screwpile lighthouse. -
Cape Lookout, est. 1812, current 1859 on Core Bank Island, Cape Lookout National Seashore. -
Currituck Beach, est. 1875 in Corolla. A completely restored light station. -
Bald Head (Old Baldy), est. 1794, current 1818 at the entrance to Cape Fear River. Oldest standing lighthouse tower in NC.
Cape Hatteras, est. 1803, current 1870, moved 1999. Tallest U.S. brick lighthouse, 198 ft. Near Buxton in Cape Hatteras Nat. Seashore.

Old Charleston (Morris Is.), est. 1767 on now submerged Morris Is. in Charleston Hbr. Current tower, 1876. -
New Charleston (Sullivan's Is.), est. 1962 last manned lighthouse built in USA. Only one with elevator. Replaces Old Charleston lighthouse. -
Bloody Point Front Range, est. 1883, Daufuskie Island. Rotating light in dormer window. -
Georgetown, est. 1801, 1812 and 1867 on North Island on the Winyah Bay. -
Harbor Town, built 1970 on Hilton Head Island. First tower privately financed since 1817. -
Hilton Head Rear Range (Leamington), est. 1880 on Palmeto Dunes Plantion on Hilton Head Island. -
Hunting Island, est. 1859, 1875, 1889. Hunting Island State Park.

and 1926 - Mispillion River, near Slaughter Beach, built in 1873, destroyed lighting/fire in 2002 -
Cape Henlopen, built south of Lewes in 1769. Destroyed by erosion in 1926 -
Harbor of Refuge (South) Breakwater, E end of outer breakwater at Lewes harbor. Built 1896
and 1926 - Fenwick Island, at Mason Dixon line, Ocean City. Built 1859 -
Bellevue Rear Range, north side Christiana River, Edgemoor, 1909.

Hudson River

Tarry Town Light, est. 1883,
on E shore in Kingsland Pt. Park. Just N of Tappan Zee Bridge. Deactivated 1961. -
Edopus Meadows, Maid of the Meadows, 1839 - first tower. Current built 1871
W side of river. Warns of Esopus Meadows mudflats. Last wood frame light on river. -
Stony Point, built 1826, first government light on river. Entrance to
Husdon Highlands.
Decommissioned 1925, reactivated 1995. In Historic Stony Point Battlefield Site. -
Saugerties Light, built 1836, current 1869. Automated 1954. Relit 1990 after restoration.
Mouth of Esopus Creek. - Jeffrey's Hook, Little Red Lighthouse from 1880-1917 tower was North Hook, off Sandy Hook, NJ. Moved 1921 to
Manhattan side of river under
George Washington Bridge in Fort Washington Park. Deactivated in 1947. -
Roundout Light, ( Kingston ) built 1837, 1867 and 1915 at mouth of Roundout Creek.
Automated 1954. Caretakers: the Hudson River Maritime Museum.
