At 93 feet this is Oregons' tallest lighthouse and is rumored to have ghosts! The tower still contains the original 1st order Fresnel lens. On the grass, to the side, is a granite monument to the people lost at sea. The view from here is breathtaking. Just below, in the front of the light, is a small outcropping of rock that is very often covered with quite a variety of birds. In the front of the parking area is a new park museum, filled with very interesting exhibits of local animal and plant life, history of the area and the lighthouse. There's also a great gift shop.
